Retail@Link offers e-supply chain solutions to Jacobs

Retail@Link (member of Entersoft Group) implemented integrated S.a.a.S. solutions to Jacobs Douwe Egberts, aiming to accelerate supply-chain operations by electronically interconnecting the company with its retail customers.

Jacobs Douwe Egberts, the international colossus in the market of instant coffee, selected Retail@Link’s integrated Software as a Service Solutions, to facilitate the prompt exchange of order and invoice data & files, via an effectively collaborative digital environment. More spefically J.D.E. uses the R@L CRP solution for the electronic management of stock replenishment operations in the Central Warehouses of its largest Retail Customers. The solution offers automated Order-Proposals, to ensure maximum service levels for optimal stock levels, thereby reducing the excess costs of reverse logistics and frequent deliveries. Additionally, the company selected the R@L e-Invoicing & e-Ordering EDI solutions, to apply electronic exchange of order & invoice files, which are directly registered from ERP to ERP, without the need for manual data-entry. The company exploits Retail@Link’s wide B2B network, to leverage e-interconnection benefits, through a “1 to many” connection which guarantees for reduced operational costs and economies of scale.

Jacobs Douwe Egberts with headquarters in Netherlands, is the renowned global leader in the market of instant coffee in 24 countries in the international map. For its operation in the Greek market, the company collaborates with Retail@Link, as part of the provider’s 13-year experience in the provision of e-Interconnection services in the Supply Chain. This ambitious project was successfully delivered thanks to the excellent collaboration between the two companies and a dedicated working group abroad, while its aim is to constantly evolve and leverage benefits throughout JDE’s supply chain.
